INFORMATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with the provisions of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), any information that identifies or makes you identifiable, including your special categories of personal data, is processed as Personal Data by Mipo Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, acting as the Data Controller, within the scope described below.

“The concept of "processing your personal data" is a legal concept, and in Law No. 6698, this concept refers to any operation performed on data, such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, modifying, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, acquiring, making accessible, classifying, or preventing the use of personal data.

Your personal data, which you share with our company as a subscriber, customer, supplier, consumer, physical or online visitor, business partner, or employee (including apprentices and interns), may be processed in accordance with the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law), transferred to third parties domestically and internationally, stored, used for profiling or other commercial purposes related to our business, and classified, in a manner that is relevant and proportionate to our business and service purposes.

At Mipo Teknoloji Anonim, we place the utmost importance on the security of your personal data. We take the highest possible security measures to protect your privacy during the lawful collection, storage, processing, and, if necessary, sharing of your personal data in all the products and services we offer.

The purpose of publishing this information/clarification text is to inform you in the clearest possible way about how your personal data is collected, the purposes of processing, the legal grounds for processing, and your legal rights, in order to ensure your satisfaction.

Below you will find important information and concepts regarding the protection and processing of personal data, with the aim of ensuring your complete understanding of these concepts. 

a) Who is the Data Controller?

 

In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (Law No. 6698), our company, Mipo Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, is the data controller. Your personal data may be collected and processed by Mipo Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, the data controller, within the scope described below.

b) The Purpose for Which Your Personal Data is/Will Be Processed

 

  • Your personal data will be processed within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698, for the purposes of fulfilling your contracts, conducting necessary evaluations for the services provided, ensuring compliance with domestic and international legislation, primarily tax legislation and Social Security Institution legislation, complying with risk monitoring and information obligations, fulfilling information sharing, reporting and notification obligations stipulated by authorities, fulfilling information and document retention obligations arising from legislation, preventing fraud, ensuring security, conducting planning and statistical activities required by our company, determining and implementing our company's commercial and business strategies, conducting our finance, communication, market research and purchasing operations, maintaining internal system and application management operations, managing our legal processes and carrying out social responsibility projects, and providing you with uninterrupted, better and more reliable service.

 

  • In addition to the above, your personal data may be processed to develop and offer you personalized products and services, to contact you regarding the products and services you have received/will receive, and, with your permission, for promotional, product/service offer, marketing and campaign activities, as well as for developing suitable services and products, conducting customer satisfaction studies, developing existing or new products for our company, conducting market research and identifying target customer groups, etc.

 

  • Your personal data may be processed within the scope of contracts or joint activities with third-party individuals or legal entities with whom our company has a business relationship, for the purposes of fulfilling our company's legal and commercial obligations arising from these contracts, establishing and protecting rights, conducting commercial and legal evaluation processes, performing legal and commercial risk analyses, and managing financial affairs.

 

  • Personal data of job applicants contacted for human resources purposes may be processed by our company for a maximum of 5 years for the purposes of recruitment, evaluation, communication, placement and other human resources activities, and in case the job application is unsuccessful for any reason, for re-evaluation within the scope of another position.

c) To Whom and for What Purpose the Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

 

Your personal data may be transferred, within the limits of relevant legislation, to authorities such as the Turkish Ministry of Finance, Revenue Administration, and the Social Security Institution; to legally authorized public institutions such as ministries and judicial authorities; to support service organizations and other contracted organizations from which our Company receives services that complement or extend its activities; to consultants and organizations with whom we cooperate where permitted by legislation; to financial institutions; to audit or independent audit companies; and to banks, solely for the purpose of achieving the objectives stated above and fulfilling the obligations imposed by legislation, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Article 8 and Article 9 of Law No. 6698 concerning the transfer of personal data and the transfer of personal data abroad.

c) Method and Legal Basis for Personal Data Collection

 

Your personal data is collected through various channels through which our company or institutions, organizations, and individuals authorized to represent our company contact you or may contact you in the future, such as our company's website, mobile or digital applications, social media, customer interactions, SMS messages, written/digital applications made to our company and other websites, direct sales teams, and support service organizations, and to the extent and within the limits permitted by relevant legislation and contracts, and, when legally required, by accessing the databases of various institutions and organizations from time to time, with your consent.

Personal data collected through these methods may be processed and transferred within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698, and for the purposes stated in this Information Notice.

d) As per the regulation in Article 11 of Law No. 6698, your rights as a Personal Data Subject are listed in Article 11;

 

  • to find out whether your personal data is being processed,
  • If your personal data has been processed, you have the right to request information regarding this processing.,
  • To learn the purpose for which your personal data is processed and whether it is being used appropriately for that purpose,
  • Knowing the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, whether domestically or internationally.,
  • You have the right to request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate, and to request that this correction be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.,
  • Even if your personal data has been processed in accordance with Law No. 6698 and other relevant laws, you have the right to request the deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, and to request that this action be notified to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred.,
  • If you believe that an unfavorable outcome has resulted from the analysis of your processed data exclusively through automated systems, you have the right to object to this.,
  • Your personal data has been processed unlawfully, and you have the right to claim compensation for any damages you suffer as a result.

If you submit your claims regarding your rights to our company using the methods we have specified below, our company will process your request free of charge as soon as possible, and no later than thirty days, depending on its nature.

However, if the process also incurs a cost, our company will charge the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. In this context, pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 1 of Law No. 6698, you can submit your request regarding the exercise of your rights mentioned above to our company in writing and through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
